FOREST-FEST FINAL

Well we`re nearly there-as we write the final plans are being shoved into place to ensure that the modestly titled `George Tortoise Forest Fest 10th Anniversary Big-Bang Royal Wedding Spectacular Grand Weekend Big Do`at Clearwell in the Forest Of Dean is a thumping success.

We`re looking forward to meeting you all again at the end of this month.A great time is guaranteed. The weather forecast for the event is magnificent, the company will be adorable, the food, wine and accommodation divine.Even the village is laying on a street party-it`s not often George Tortoise comes to town.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO NOW LOVELY FESTER `The Tough Bit`

1.MENU CHOICES
Please sign up for the Menu Choices, and return to Dave or Ash (email or snail mail) by Wednesday 20th April at the latest. Some of you will be arriving Friday (28th April), some Saturday Morning (29th April). Please use the spreadsheet to sign up for your food choices across the weekend. I am afraid we need this information in advance to enable the restaurants to effectively plan for the meals and to enable us to `keep down costs`; each of these meals has been specially negotiated on behalf of the party by assiduous GT envoys.

2.PAYMENT

You have all kindly paid your deposits for the weekend, and these have been safely stored in our Zurich Bank vaults. Regretfully, we now need to ask you to pay the `balance`, as George Tortoise has agreed to settle the account directly with the Tudor Farmhouse Hotel in advance.

You should have received the `balance` update request via email or snail mail.Payments should be made to George Tortoise by cheque (made payable to `George Tortoise`) please, via Ash, by Wednesday 20th April.

Payment for the various meals you will be taking (as per your return) will be settled when we are actualy in Clearwell; George Tortoise will make a single payment on behalf of the party at both Tudor Farmhouse Hotel and The Wyndham Arms. If you would kindly make your payment to `George Tortoise` at the end of the weekend and give to Ash, that would be greatly appreciated.

WHY ARE WE DOING IT ?

Very good question. You`ve probably asked yourself this more than once ! Well, it`s because none of us can resist a good `knees up` with friends and family, and we`re all happy to do our `bit` for a worthwhile charity (this year again we`re hoping to make a donation after the weekend to CANCER RESEARCH UK), and, well, because saying `no` is very difficult.

Looking forward to seeing you all. In the meantime, any problems or queries, then please get in touch with George Tortoise Inc` asap via the normal contacts.

Many thanks.
Love
Dave , Yvonne, Elaine, Ash
